Train Street in Hanoi, Vietnam – An Unusual Experience!
Train Street, located in Hanoi, Vietnam, is an exhilarating adrenaline rush! Sit at a café while you watch a train pass within mere inches of you. Do not worry, it is totally safe if you follow the simple rule – do as the café owners tell you to do! Tourists can freely visit the tracks when there are no trains scheduled within a short time frame, but otherwise the sweet and kind Vietnamese café owners will come to the main street to recruit tourists to their shops to enjoy the train! With the tracks running through an unpaved street full of cafes, Train Street is the perfect Instagram spot in Hanoi! Hanoi is already a beautiful, quaint city frequented by tourists, and matches those expectations. The cafes are uniquely designed with stunning murals painted along the outside walls to draw the attention of passersby. There are several entrances to the street, most of which have a security guard to ensure tourist safety. Get there by entering Train Street to Google Maps and taking a Grab Taxi to the location we visited, in the Old Quarter between Le Duan and Kham Tien Street. A cup of tea or coffee here will be the best you have ever had!
