Tugawe Cove Resort’s trademark – its picturesque infinity pool
The Philippines is well-known for its majestic beaches, such as Boracay and Palawan. It can indeed get pretty crowded as tourists flock to these islands, especially during the peak summer seasons. What’s great about this tropical country is that there are numerous islands you can visit and explore. And one of which is the Caramoan Peninsula of Camarines Sur in the Bicol region.
Lakeside boardwalk to the beach
I know everyone will agree when the perfect beach trip includes a shining blue sea, pristine white sand, and a serene ambiance. Fret not because Tugawe Cove Resort is the best place for you to have that well-deserved rest and recreation.

Luxurious Hideaway in Bicol Region
All dressed up in white!
Approximately two and a half hours away from Naga City Airport lies an intimate yet luxurious beach resort where you can be one with nature while feasting your eyes with lush greeneries and turquoise seawater.
View from the restaurant
The beachfront is linked to the cove through a concrete boardwalk in the mountainside. As you go along, there are hillside cabanas or bungalows that are secluded from one another. You’ll see the restaurant, playground, game room, and its staple infinity pool with an overlooking view of the sea as you go further. Indeed, it’s a piece of heaven here on Earth!
While waiting for our food
The boat docks directly right to the shore upon arrival, and their hospitable and courteous staff will welcome you. A jeep and a golf car also await you as they will drive you up to the top where the reception area is.
The food was great, too!
How to get there

Rooms & Accommodations
Lakeside Cabana
There are various accommodations you may go for during your stay here at Tugawe Cove Resort. You can either choose the lakeside view, a hillside cabana, or go all the way up and have your cabana situated on a hilltop. When we went there, we chose the hilltop family room where it can accommodate five persons. Our accommodation is also accessible to the restaurant and one of the resort’s infinity pools. We stayed for two nights and got a pretty good steal! We availed of their summer promo, which is 60% off of the regular nightly rate. Overall, we paid $89 per person (Php 4500.00) for the two-night accommodation and roundtrip transfers.

Majestic Beachfront
Got the whole place all to ourselves!
The beachfront is fantastic! During our stay in this beautiful beach resort, there are only several groups of tourists, and that made it more special because it’s as if we got the whole resort all to ourselves! You would definitely not miss seeing how tranquil their beachfront is.
Loved how fine the white sand is!
Just a few steps away from the lakeside, there you will see a stretch of the beach where you can go swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Or you can just chill in one of their daybeds.
The sea calls me, but I wanna chill some more!
Moreover, if your trip falls on a new moon, you might be lucky enough to catch some bioluminescent planktons floating around. It truly is the best place to sit back, unwind, and relax from the bustling routines we have in the metro.

Infinity pool on top of the hill
Tugawe Cove Resort showcases two infinity pools that have equally majestic views! The most famous one is near the restaurant that gives you an overlooking view of the sea.
Quick dip at their famous infinity pool
On the other hand, they also have one by the lakeside, giving you a picturesque beach view. We equally enjoyed our quick dip in both pools, but I loved the sea view more with the greens on the side.
Afternoon dip near the beachfront
It gives you an illusion that the pool & beach are connected to each other
Have an afternoon picnic at Colongcong Lighthouse
Short trek to the lighthouse
The Colongcong Lighthouse is just a 5-minute short trek from the foot of the cove. You can see a 360-degree view of the whole cove and the other side of the Caramoan peninsula.
Picnic with an amazing view, yes?
Lay your mat and munch on your favorite chips!
They say that it’s perfect for catching the sunrise there, but in our case, we dressed up in white and had our version of an afternoon picnic. Alternatively, you may opt to avail the restaurant’s picnic service, which is around $13 (Php 650.00), good for two.

Pitogo Bay – the Singing Island
Tugawe Cove Resort currently offers a half-day tour where you can visit three exciting & unique islands – Katanhawan Grande, Katanhawan Small, and Pitogo Bay.
Katanhawan Grande Island
The tour costs around $70 (Php 3500.00), which can accommodate up to eight persons.
Vitamin SEA!
Their island hopping service is very commendable. They will provide you mats, pillows, towels, complimentary mineral water, and snorkeling gear! Our tour guide had set up a mini-picnic area by the beach! Oh, what a beautiful place to chill and relax!
Perfect spot to relax in Katanhawan Grande Island!
Katanhawan Small Island
Be one with nature.
Lakeside Cabanas
Whether you’re checked-in by the lakeside or hilltop cabana, one of the best activities I have enjoyed in my whole stay is walking around and being one with nature.
Witnessed the sunset by the lake
I loved the greeneries and landscape Tugawe has to offer, making my stay more relaxing and peaceful. The whole place is beautiful, may it be day or night.
Tugawe Cove Resort at night
I also loved hearing the birds chirping early in the morning and how the resort shines at night. If you’re a beach wanderer like me, you would never not miss Tugawe Cove Resort on your list.
Loved how everything in this resort is a picture-perfect spot
