Taipei Train Ride to Shifen Station (十分) and Shifen Waterfall Park

Shifen and Shifen Waterfall (十分瀑布), one of the popular scenic places outside the city would definitely be our next points of visit.

• Fly a lantern and let your wishes come true. From writing your wishes till letting it go and seeing the lantern fly and disappearing into the sky. My kid really love it!

• Moving on from the lantern flying, our next stop is Shifen Waterfall. Don’t worry about not knowing the way, as there will be many tourists and locals heading towards the waterfall park. What a crowd!
• Waterfall Park Opening Hours: 9.00am till 4.30pm

How to get there!

• We headed off from Taipei Main Station

• Buy a ticket from Taipei main station to Ruifang station and another one day pass for Pingxi line. Alight at Ruifang station.

• Pingxi Line Stations: Banqiao, Taipei, Songshan, Keeling, Badu, Ruifang, Houtong, Yilan, Luodong, Pingxi, Jingtong, and Shifen.

• Switch to another train towards Shifen station. Checkout the timetable for train arrival and departure time.

• We hop Pingxi station for another short trial, but not as spectacular and fun, maybe we can consider exploring the cat village in Houtong station next time.
