Kullu is an open valley formed the Beas River between Manali and Larji (state Himachal Pradesh, India) . It is famous for its temples, vast and beautiful majestic hills which are covered in Pine and Deodar forests. Cool soothing breeze in the woods is the most majestic experience you could ever have. Trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, paragliding and hiking over the Himalayan hills and glaciers are some of the adventure activities that kullu offer . So we planned two days for the visit. While packing for the place you should definitely keep warm clothes with you asĀ  you will get extremely cold weather there . After overnight journey train we reached kullu . we reached the resort that we booked, had our breakfast there. Later that day we walked In the wood, visited the apple farm and did river rafting. Paragliding was scheduled for next day but due to fog it was cancelled, this got us more time for trekking on snow covered mountain and visiting local market.

From my experience I would suggest to do a road trip from kullu to Manali . The road trip is absolutely worth it and throughout you will experience the beauty of Beas River.

You can visit here all round the year, but I advise travelers to avoid travelling during snowfall period because you will be stuck to your hotel only and if snowed heavily your vehicle will be stuck too.
