Sri Lankan Ravana Waterfalls
After a tiring day of conquering Sigirya my next stop was Ravana waterfall. The Ravana falls with a height of 19 meters is one of the most popular activities in Ella, it is visited by almost all tourists.
The rough waterfall is a little spot not just for tourist but also for locals as it has no entrance fee.
To get to this beautiful spot I had to take the most famous train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, one of the best experiences of my life.
Around the water fall you’ll find many café and stalls with fast food and Parking. Many tourists tried to get to the top of the waterfall, but after a few deaths it was closed. There are a lot of wild monkeys which you can feed, but you have to be so careful around with them with your belongings because those little thieves tend steal everything and you wouldn’t even know.
If you want to just have a good view of the waterfall you can see it by standing on the bridge road, however to get a closer look, you will have to be ready without your shoes and a nice swimsuit.
